Amongst Maria’s research interests is soft solids Rheology: rheological characterisation and modelling of soft solids used in various composite materials such as in foods, binders in explosives, paints and adhesives. Numerical modelling for quantifying flow and damage in soft solids, including food manufacturing and human (oral and gastric) processing.
