BSR Non-Newtonian Club 2025
Friday 5th September 2025 | 09:00 – 17:00 | School of Engineering, University of Liverpool
The University of Liverpool and the British Society of Rheology are pleased invite you to attend the 2025 meeting of the Non-Newtonian Club entitled “Constitutive Modelling and Flow Transitions in Complex Fluids: Bridging Fundamentals and Applications.”
This one-day meeting aims to foster discussion across both academic and industrial communities working at the interface of theory, experimentation, and application in complex fluids. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Advances in constitutive equation development and model validation,
- Experimental characterisation of flow transitions and instabilities,
- Industrial case studies where rheological modelling has informed design or process optimisation,
- Emerging approaches in data-driven modelling and hybrid frameworks that integrate machine learning with physical insight.
The event will follow the UK Fluids Conference 2025, which takes place in Liverpool from 2nd – 4th September. In addition to an engaging programme of talks from leading researchers and industry professionals, the day will include a tour of the facilities at the University of Liverpool.
