Non-Newtonian Club Meeting Report

A highly successful meeting was held at the Unilever R&D Port Sunlight labs near Liverpool in November (2007), with about 35 attendees and a good spread of food for lunch.

The best 'young' rheologists presentation went to Souad Assighaou of Universiti du Maine La Mans (France). A report on the meeting is now available on the Non-Newtonian Club website.

The caption is from the previous meeting in June at the University of Oxford, of the best 'young' rheologist presentation by Janice Giudice of the University of Oxford.

Very Old Announcements

KEY BSR MOMENTS

The society is one of the founding members of the European Society of Rheology.
The third Weissenberg Award was made to Professor Ken Walters, and was presented at the 6th European Conference on Rheology in Erlangen, September 2002.
