Doctoral Prize 2007 to Tim Reis

Dr. Tim Reis has been awarded the BSR's Vernon Harrison Doctoral Award
for 2007, for his thesis "Lattice Boltzmann Methods for Complex Flows"
, supervised by Tim Phillips at the University of Cardiff. He was presented with his award by BSR president Phil Banfill, and gave his prizewinner's address, at the BSR midwinter meeting on "The Rheology of Foams and Emulsions".
The Vernon Harrison prize is awarded annually to the best thesis on any area of rheology. There are more details here.
